Our Mission & Vision
We help leaders define reality and offer hope through the truth of God’s Word applied to everyday life and work — with the goal of transforming lives as we lead our families, organizations, and our great city.
Our Values
Christ at The Center
Christ and the Word of God are the same (John 1:1-4). We place the infallible, Holy Spirit inspired Word of God at the center of everything we teach and discuss. We believe Christ created all things visible and invisible and that all things are created through him and for him (Colossians 1:16). In Christ we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
Humility
Jesus was the most powerful and the most humble person to walk the earth (Philippians 6-11). Since Christ has reconciled us to God be making peace by the blood of the cross (Colossians 1:20) — we have everything we need In Christ, we no longer need to live for ourselves, we can live with Christ like assurance and humility as we serve others (Luke 10:29-37, Philippians 2:1-5).
Kingdom Mindset
The Kingdom of God is coming and is now here (Mark 1:15). God is making all things new (Revelation 21:1). The Gospel of Jesus means that God is reclaiming everything that is his. We are called to repent, believe, and follow our Savior and King. Trust Him with your life as you engage in His work to make disciples of all nations. Use your gifts — design, build, invest, communicate, teach, lead...spend your life and resources blessing others as you spread the love of Christ.
Diversity
All people are made in the image of God with the same dignity. Heaven will be full of people from every nation, tribe, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands praising God (Revelation 7:9). Therefore we will honor diversity and inclusion in all we do now.
San Antonio
We love San Antonio and aim to see our people, organizations, and city prosper. We look for ways to bless our neighbors, coworkers, and all of our citizens by building, creating, buying, selling, giving, and collaborating in ways that promote the common good of our city (Jeremiah 29:4-5,7).
Who We Serve
We serve leaders who desire to move from ambivalence, distraction, and uncertainty to confident clarity of mission and daily purposeful action.
Influencers
You have significant authority and responsibility. Many people look to you for leadership. You want to be sure you guide others well. Prioritizing correctly is one of your chief concerns. You want to know what God’s Word says in order to inform your life and leadership.
Innovators
You see limitless possibilities for the Kingdom and others. You want to see God’s Word make a difference in the world. You appreciate original thought and tested wisdom. You approach both problems and solutions with creativity and purpose. You are comfortable challenging the status quo, but want to make sure your work is grounded in ultimate truth.
Connectors
You build bridges between people and ideas for the benefit of individuals and organizations. You want to know how you can better invest your time and talent to make a difference. You want to know what God says about life’s purpose so you can help others make an impact on the world.
Investigators
You work hard and think deeply. You ask excellent questions about the validity of things—values, plans, ideas, statements, and organizations—that others accept as fact, because you want to do what is right. You want to know if there is real truth and how to apply that truth to the inconsistencies you see in the world.

Morris Camp
Working Genius: Enablement | Tenacity
Morris Camp is a founding partner of The Center- San Antonio. He spent 30+ years in banking and corporate finance advising business owners, CEOs, and CFOs in all aspects of strategic and financial planning and retired early as a Managing Director and Market Executive for JPMorgan in 2021. A year prior to his exit, Morris sought assistance and coaching to make an effective and successful transition and fell in love with the coaching and discipleship model. As a recovering ‘performer/achiever’ he has a passion for helping men live out their true identity in Christ, not an identity tied to achievements and accomplishments. Today he splits time coaching and discipling men to fully live out God’s call on their life while working part time with a friend at MidFirst Bank, the largest privately owned bank in the country.
Morris is active in his church, serves on its leadership team, teaches Sunday school to incredible 3 year olds, and loves to walk alongside men as they become doers of the Word, not just hearers. He and his wife, Muffin, are passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word and have participated and volunteered with Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) for more than 20 years. Morris led one of the men’s classes as teaching leader for 7 years and currently serves as a group leader. With BSF they had the opportunity and privilege to host a number of biblical tours of the Holy Lands.
Morris’ Working Genius is Enablement and Tenacity, which means he loves encouraging others to get things done. There are no unfinished projects in his home. He's grateful for those gifted with Invention and Wonder to come up with the new and novel so he can execute on their clever ideas.
Morris and his wife of 33 years live in San Antonio where they grew up. They enjoy doing life together, cooking, drinking good coffee, riding bikes, and clinging to Jesus and each other through life's ups and downs. They have 2 amazing adult children, a wonderful family, and many deep friendships.

Chris Hargis
Working Genius: Enablement | Galvanizing
Chris Hargis is a founding Partner of The Center- San Antonio. He is a native of San Antonio who has spent his career in private equity and non profit work. His time in private equity has been spent investing primarily in diversified funds across many sectors, this has grown into an appreciation for a hands on approach with small to mid market businesses. In that role, he works with business owners in strategic points of growth to maximize their potential while taking care of their employees and business with a long term mindset.
His time in the non profit space has been spent with an anti-sex trafficking organization, Safe House Project, in developing strategic partnerships to fund the work they are doing. Most recently he has transitioned to the Board of Directors of Safe House Project in order to provide a unique lens for the board as someone who has worked in the day to day operations of the organization.
Chris is the Executive Director for Providence Fellowship Church, a young church in the heart of San Antonio. He and his wife Liz volunteer their time greeting, working with the toddlers in Sunday school, and participating in small groups.
Chris’ Working Genius is Enablement and Galvanizing, which means he loves to encourage others, rally them behind a common goal, and support collaborative execution on the task at hand. He is not gifted with Wonder and Invention, but loves to partner with those who have those gifts and run with the ball once they lay out the vision and mission for whatever project or goal they can complete as a team.
Chris and Liz love to spend their time traveling, adventuring in the outdoors and doing everything their 2 toddlers love to do!
